Who Runs the World? WOMEN

It’s Women’s History Month and we just read that the gender wage gap in this county is exactly the same as it was 20 YEARS AGO! Despite this, women own 42% of businesses in the U.S. and we employ more than 9.4 million workers.

So, instead of just celebrating women we want to help women authors get paid. We at Broad Book Group have a running list of books on Bookshop that we call Bad A** Books by Bad A** Women. It’s a compilation of books that have captured our minds come highly recommended by us, our colleagues, and readers like you. That’s right, it wouldn’t be a book broad post if we didn’t somehow work in a book or two.

This is obviously not a complete list of the great work authored by women. The point of this list is not to be complete but to start a conversation about these works and their authors. We’d love to have you share this list to bring awareness to these works and hopefully get a couple more copies of their books sold.
