Editorial

Editorial is the heart of what we do. It is multifaceted and broken down into three categories. Developmental Editing covers if the book reads well and the chapter order makes sense. Copy Editing drills down to the sentence and paragraph level. The final level covers design and proofreading for final errors.

    Development

Does the book read well? Are the chapters in the right order? Do your headings work and do you have high-level descriptive text.

  • Pile of open books

    Copy

We will drill down to sentences and paragraphs within the copy. We look at words, sentence structure, and paragraph structure.

  • Stack of books on a table with titles Why Fonts Matter, Know Your Onions, Graphic Design The New Basics

    Design

Our designer makes it look a like book and final proofing of the nitty-gritty. This is the step where we try and catch the typos.
